FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. Does your pharmacy accept my insurance? We accept all major insurance plans for prescriptions. For durable medical equipment we accept most plans, with the exception of Horizon and Oxford. 2. Will I have to pay anything for my durable medical equipment? Payment for equipment depends on a number of factors. Insurance coverage, secondary insurance availability and deductibles are some of the factors that will determine how much you will have to pay for your equipment. 3. Do you rent nebulizers or wheelchairs, etc? We do not rent nebulizers. However, you can purchase one if your insurance does not cover them. Transport wheelchairs and wheelchairs can be rented on a daily or monthly basis. Please call the pharmacy for more information. 4. Does insurance cover the cost of ostomy supplies? Medicare Part B covers ostomy equipment. Medicare only allows a predetermined maximum quantity each month. 5. What do I do when I need to reorder my ostomy supplies? You can call us and give us the prescription numbers, or your ostomy item numbers. 6. How long will it take to get my supplies? If we have your items in stock you can usually receive them on the same day. Otherwise we have to order your items in a day or two. 7. I have a prescription for surgical compression stockings. How do I know which ones to get? We will measure you and give you the correct size and compression your doctor ordered. |
